The Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund supports programs that provide financial incentives to help you reduce the amount of energy used in your home or business.
These Energy Efficiency Programs, which are funded through a charge on your electric bill, are reviewed by the Energy Conservation Management Board, approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control and administered by The Connecticut Light and Power Company and The United Illuminating Company.
All CL&P and UI customers contribute to the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund through the Combined Public Benefits Charge on their electric bill.
