Project 150

Project 150 is an initiative to build and operate 150 MW of renewable generating capacity in Connecticut.

General Statutes of Connecticut 16-244(j)(2) as amended by Section 124 of Public Act 07‑242, An Act Concerning Electricity and Energy Efficiency, requires the DPUC to procure at least 150 MW of power from Class I renewable energy sources that receive funding from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.  Projects must be submitted for review by the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.

The DPUC reviewed this issue under its Docket No. 07-04-27, DPUC Review of Long-Term Renewable Energy Contracts and has issued a final ruling in this matter.  The following links can be used to access information about Connecticut's Project 150.
