Project 150 is an initiative to build and operate 150 MW of renewable generating capacity in Connecticut .
General Statutes of Connecticut 16-244c(j)(2) as amended by Section 124 of Public Act 07-242 Act Concerning Electricity and Energy Efficiency, requires the DPUC to procure at least 150 MW of power from Class I renewable energy sources that receive funding from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund. Projects must be submitted for review by the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund.
The DPUC reviewed Project 150 under the following Docket Nos.
03-07-17RE03, Round 1 Results;
07-04-27, Round 2 Results; and,
08-03-03, Round 3 Results.
The DPUC issued final rulings in these matters and awarded contracts to meet the 150 MW mandate.
